Join us on auction day at our Downtown Los Angeles warehouse to bid on items in person. Fill out our Registration and Bid Form upon arrival and be issued a ‘paddle’ which you can use to bid during the auction.

Register with BILLINGS to bid over the phone. Fill out our online Registration and Bid Form or email us at info@billingsauction.com with the lots you’d like to bid on and the best phone number to reach you on auction day. We will call you during the sale, shortly before the lot you are interested in is up, relay the bidding to you over the phone and bid on your behalf when you say so.
ABSENTEE
Register your absentee bids with BILLINGS. Fill out our online Registration and Bid Form or email us at info@billingsauction.com with the lots you’d like to bid on and the maximum amount you’d like to bid for each lot. We will then bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid as competing bids come in.

We are excited to announce that you can now register to bid online directly with BILLINGS! Bidding directly with us entitles you to the same lower buyer's premium previously available only to in-person and phone bidders. You can view the catalog, pre-register, leave absentee bids, bid live during the sale, as well as save your favorite items and monitor your bids. Create your personal account using the Login Link in our header and register directly through the catalog for each sale.
You can also bid online through LiveAuctioneers.
Bidding directly with BILLINGS, rather than bidding through LiveAuctioneers will save you 5% on the Buyer’s Premium (25% for bids with BILLINGS, rather than 30% for bids through LiveAuctioneers) and give you more control over your bidding experience. BILLINGS also offers a further 2% reduction in the Buyer’s Premium if you pay by wire transfer, check or cash rather than credit card. Once you receive your invoice, just let us know if you’d like to pay via one of these methods and we can adjust the premium on your invoice to reflect this.

There are several ways to register to bid at a BILLINGS auction.
If you plan to bid IN-PERSON at our location on auction day, BY PHONE with one of our staff members, or would like us to bid on your behalf by leaving an ABSENTEE BID, you can register in one of the following ways.
1- REGISTER ONLINE: Fill out and submit the Registration and Bid Form on our website before the sale. The Registration and Bid Form is active from the day the auction’s catalog is launched (approx. 3-4 weeks before auction day) until 10PM Pacific Time the night BEFORE the auction. Once your online registration is received, we will contact you by email to confirm your registration and secure your paddle number.
2- REGISTER OVER THE PHONE: Call us directly at +1 (213) 584-2240. Registrations by phone are accepted from the day the auction’s catalog is launched (approx. 3-4 weeks before auction day) until 4PM Pacific Time the day BEFORE the auction.
3- REGISTER IN PERSON: Stop by our location at 2124 Sacramento Street Los Angeles, CA. 90021 during the PREVIEW WEEK before auction day, during the PREVIEW PARTY, or on AUCTION DAY and register to bid using one of our paper forms.
If you plan to use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to BID ONLINE, please register to bid by viewing the catalog on our website for that auction and clicking the REGISTER NOW button. Registrations for online bidding are accepted from the day the auction’s catalog is launched (approx. 3-4 weeks before auction day) through auction day. We recommend registering to bid by no later than the morning of auction day to ensure your registration is accepted and complete with enough time to bid on the item(s) you want.

Yes, it is free to register to bid at a BILLINGS auction. There is no fee to register or bid at one of our auctions. You will only be responsible for paying for the item(s) you WIN, for which the charge will include the amount of your winning bid(s) plus the buyer’s premium fee, per our Terms & Conditions.

Yes, you are welcome to come to our location at 2124 Sacramento Street in Los Angeles during Preview Week before the auction and on auction day to view the item(s) in-person. We also encourage you to ask us any questions you may have about the item(s) while visiting or by contacting us at (213) 584-2240 or info@billingsauction.com.
We are open for Preview Week the Saturday (9am-2pm PT) and Monday thru Friday (10am-4pm PT) BEFORE auction day.
We also host a Preview Party on the Friday night before the auction from 6pm-9pm PT. This is a fun event to mingle with other collectors, listen to great music, and enjoy tasty food and specialty cocktails while previewing the items before the sale.

Congratulations! It is an exciting experience to win an item at auction.
If you are LOCAL and/or BID IN-PERSON and have won one or more items, you may pay for and pick up your item(s) that same day before the auction is over. If your purchase is too large or difficult to move during the auction, you may schedule a time for pick-up at a later date.
If you bid ONLINE, by PHONE or by ABSENTEE BID, you will receive an invoice by email with a list of the item(s) you won and the total cost, including the buyer’s premium fee within 24-hours after the sale. You will have the option to pay online through LiveAuctioneers (online bids only), over the phone, through the mail, or in-person. We accept payments by credit card, wire transfer, check or cash.
Tip - We offer a 3% reduction in the Buyer’s Premium if you pay by wire transfer, check or cash instead of by credit card. Just let us know you would like to accept this offer and we will gladly adjust the premium on your invoice accordingly.
It is the responsibility of the WINNING BIDDER to pick up item(s) from our location at 2124 Sacramento Street in Los Angeles within a timely manner after the sale. Please call us at (213) 584-2240 or email us at info@billingsauction.com to schedule a day and time to pick up your item(s) and we will be sure to have them ready for you.
If you are unable to pick up your item(s) yourself, you will need to schedule a shipper of your choice to pick up and ship your item(s) to you. BILLINGS does NOT offer or manage shipping. However, we do keep an updated list of preferred shippers who come highly recommended based on our own experiences and positive feedback from our clients.
